In July of 2022, the beautiful and talented Jana decided to start a party rental business.
The new business would supply tents, tables, chairs, games and more for weddings, parties and other special events.
And Jana had a special weapon to help boost the business...

We were starting 100% from the ground up with the new business.
First there were the business formalities, creating an LLC, setting up tax IDs, buying rental inventory... yada, yada, boring stuff.
But then, for this supportive husband, the fun stuff began.
We needed a professional, easy to use website that allowed rental item selection, reservation and payments.
As a new business with ZERO market awareness, we needed the website to be found easily when a potential customer searched for terms like:

We needed to build a user friendly site for the customer, but it was just as important to make it easy for Google to find and understand.
I used my long list of local Search Engine Optimization best practices so Google could understand:
I laid out the website in a search friendly structure and added all of the behind the scenes extras like targeted URLs, titles, headings, local business schema.
I went off-site and built an optimized Google Business Profile, Facebook page, Instagram page, and other baseline social media signals that help Google see us as a real business.
I submitted our business info and links to local citations directories around the web (Yelp, Yellowpages, Apple Maps, Foursquare, etc) to further build a base of trust signals to help our search rankings.
I set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console to track our results, traffics, etc. And most importantly, submitted the sitemap to Google Search Console so they would easily know how to index our new website.
And next... we wait...
Within 30 days of the new website launch, we the top spots on Google, in our region, for all of our important keywords.
We've now maintained those results for over a year.
This allowed Jana's party rental business to be found fast by customers who needed the rental equipment and were ready to book and spend.
They find her business easy and often enough that she's spent VERY little on any outside advertising.
The website shows up FREE in Google search results and that's the #1 spot people go to find what they are looking for. It's a win-win.
Now you may think Jana received extra special treatment she's my wife and I was technically a co-owner (she's the President but graciously crowned me as VP) of the business but truthfully, building an internet presence through SEO-focused web design is incredibly FUN, EXCITING and REWARDING for me every time.
Starting from nothing and building massive internet visibility for any of my customers is always a blast...
