Is Your Business Email Being Spoofed? Let's Find Out.

Protect Your Business Email from Spoofing Attacks

Cybercriminals can impersonate your business and send fake emails to your customers without you even knowing. Learn how to protect your brand, secure your inbox, and make sure your emails reach the right people.

I’ve been seeing more and more reports of email spoofing attacks across the country and right here in my little hometown of Ponca City, OK.

First, it was a local lawyer, and then a local service business had a similar attack, both where someone faked their email address to trick customers into clicking malicious links.

This stuff isn’t happening in some far-off place—it’s happening in big cities and small towns to small businesses like yours.

To help combat this, at Hayes Digital Marketing, I’ve decided to offer a Free Business Email Security Audit to help small business owners figure out if their domain is vulnerable to spoofing, phishing, and other email attacks.

Why This Matters for Your Business

If your domain isn’t protected, anyone can send emails pretending to be you. That can lead to:

  • Scammed customers and lost trust
  • Sensitive business info being stolen
  • Your emails getting flagged as spam
  • A bad reputation that’s hard to fix

And now, even email providers are taking action.

What is Email Spoofing & Why Should You Care?

Email spoofing is when hackers fake your email address to send fraudulent messages to your customers, employees, or vendors. These emails look real but contain scam links, fake invoices, or requests for sensitive info. If your email security isn’t properly set up, you won’t even know it’s happening until someone falls for the scam.

How Our Free Email Security Audit Helps

We’ll analyze your business email setup and let you know if your domain is vulnerable to attacks. We check for these key security measures:

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) – Stops unauthorized servers from sending emails on your behalf.
DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) – Confirms emails sent from your domain haven’t been altered.
DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance) – Blocks fake emails and helps protect your reputation.

Did you know that Google now requires DMARC Security? Are You Compliant?

As of February 1st, 2024, Google requires businesses that send more than 5,000 emails per day to have DMARC, SPF, and DKIM properly configured.

Even if you send fewer emails, having DMARC in place improves deliverability and protects your domain from spoofing attacks. Without it, your emails might end up in spam or, even worse, fail to send entirely.

How to Get Your Free Email Security Audit

It’s quick and easy. Just fill out your business name, website, and contact info, and we’ll check if your domain is at risk. If your security settings aren’t up to par, we’ll let you know what needs to be fixed.
